Today we are reviewing one of the most hyped strains & brand collabrations around: Super Dope x Fear of Boof x Hi Tech - Mega Z (Dark)!

This strain is part of the Mega Z Series, focusing on Z (Zkittlez) terpenes.

Also responsible for the infamous Super Hentai Series, with suggestive Japanese hentai imaging on their packaging. These strains are known as “Popperz”. They include: Cherry Popperz, Lemon Popperz, & Bubblegum Popperz.

It is a collaboration between three brands:

• Super Dope
• Fear of Boof
• Hi Tech

I actually couldn’t find a ton of information online differentiating these three brands.

Hi Tech are known for their genetics, with strains like: SS1, SS2, Ray-K 41, A.M.A. So they may supply the genetics here.

Who Grows It?

Super Dope x Fear of Boof x Hi Tech uses Zenith Ventures Lansing, LLC (AU-G-C-000294) to cultivate their flower in Michigan.

They also grow for another highly hyped brand: Doja.

Aside from this, I could find very little else about Zenith.

Review

👁️ Look

• Great color
• Smaller nugs
• Breaks down into angel feathers

👃 Smell

• Light fruitiness
• Z terps with a spiciness

👅 Taste

• Slight fruit
• More powerful skunky gas

Rating

This one had a great smell and an amazing taste.

If I had one critism, it is that the nugs are small. However, this seems to be the case with all strains from Super Dope x Fear of Boof x Hi Tech.

The flavor really carried this one with the “dark” terps included with the expected Z terps, creating a unique balance.

Overall, this was a great showing from Super Dope x Fear of Boof x Hi Tech.

With a price tag of $60, a lot of expectation comes with this release.

Having tried Mega Z (Blue), I feel like this is a step up in flavor. The terps were more nuanced and hid a nice kick outside of the typical, fruity taste.

I’d recommend this to anyone to try at least once, as a good representative of the Mega Z Series.
