Today we are reviewing a brand representing the 517, Lansing/East Lansing: Premier Cannabis Farms.

The strain being a headnod to Michigan State University: 517 Spartan OG #6.

Surprisingly little is found online about these guys. From what I could find, they rep Lansing to the fullest, with 517 being in every strain name they carry.

They have a relatively small genetics library of some exclusive/propietary strains.

They grow small batch and apparently hand water and trim their plants.

I assume they are growing in the Lansing area, as most of the dispensaries that carry their product are located there (as well as all the 517 references).

👁️ Look

• Beautiful big fluffly nugs.
• Great breakdown.

👃 Smell

• Wood scent. Almost like colone.
• Very unique.

👅 Taste

• Earthy gas with a hint of sweet.

Rating

This stuff was fantastic 🥳.

It was everything you typically look for in a bud:

• Came in a glass jar.
• Contained big nugs.
• Nugs were squishy.
• Great smell.
• Smell carried over to taste.

The taste was unique and one of my favorite OG varieties that I’ve had from Michigan.

If you noticed, my batch was even a little old, however the quality of the bud was still able to shine through.

I’ve seen multiple different phenos of this strain in dispensaries and would be excited to try more.

It also looks like this was Premier Cannabis Farm’s entry into the High Times Cannabis Cup this year:

I will definitely keep a lookout for any of their upcoming drops.

I just wish they had more presence in the Metro Detroit area.
