Review: DogHouse Farms: StarDog - Zoinks

Today we are reviewing a new product from DogHouse Farms: StarDog.

StarDog

StarDog is DogHouse Farm’s brand of dry-sift hash infused pre-rolls.

Apparently every strain available at DogHouse will be available as these infused pre-rolls.

StarDog from DogHouse is a different breed of infused preroll. No need for chemicals or fake flavors, just premium whole flower and single source dry-sift hash paired to amplify the terp-rich flavors and soaring highs that’ll have you howling at the stars.

This was actually a sample I received on my DogHouse Farms grow tour, so it didn’t have the standard sticker with all of the lab information. So I reached out to DogHouse:

We didn’t re-test the Zoinks StarDog Joints cus we’re just giving them out as samples, but the other strains will end up hitting in the mid-to-high 40’s THC% once the hash is mixed in. The ratio is 75% flower to 25% hash, completely blended until homogenized for the smoothest burn. StarDogs are 1 gram joints so thats .75 grams flower and .25 grams hash per joint. - DogHouse Farms

Zoinks

  • Strain Characteristics: Snacks says “hello” with her pungent gas and clear-headed, cerebral effect while the Zkittlez adds a creamy sweet accent that balances that funk.

Rating

This was tasty.

I’m a big fan of hash infused pre-rolls as it keeps the taste true to the strains and typically burns evenly in a joint.

This particular one was a nice fruity treat that was enhanced by the infusion with the dry-sift hash.

As the hash is the same strain as the flower, you get a level up in terps that synergizes perfectly.

It burned great and didn’t run, which can be a problem with live resin infused pre-rolls.

With great flavor, good hash, and an even burn, this was:

Depending on the price, these could be a nice treat.

If you are a fan of any particular DogHouse Farms strain, the infused pre-roll version will be a solid step up in flavor.

This was a solid showing from DogHouse and I’ll be looking forward to trying some different strains.
