Review: Khalifa Kush - Khalifa Mints
By Gas & Middies
Today we are reviewing a celebrity strain, from a big rapper, bringing even bigger expectations.
Wiz Khalifa
Khalifa Kush is a brand created by, none other, than prolific rapper: Wiz Khalifa.
He is known for his hit “Black & Yellow” as well as being the leader of the Taylor Gang.
Wiz is well known in the cannabis community, with the likes of Snoop Dogg, constantly smoking in videos/interviews as well as having many 4/20 friendly songs.
Khalifa Kush started with it’s namesake strain and introduced their second: Khalifa Mints, we are reviewing today.
Who Grew It?
Cresco.
Cresco is an out-of-state brand from Illinois, that has a polarizing reputation in the Michigan cannabis community.
They are known as being “big canna” despite having popular flower & live resin products.
The brand is currently owned by rapper & entrepeneur Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Gage/Cookies
Gage actually packages this product.
Gage & Cookies stores are also where you can find Khalifa Kush as they appear to own the license in Michigan.

Rating
Alright guys, hear me out.
- Khalifa Kush is created by a rapper, Wiz Khalifa.
- Produced by Cresco.
- Licensed & packaged by Gage/Cookies.
Everything about this makes you want to hate the product, however I can’t.
Based on the flower itself (and I’m expecting if people judged this blind), it tastes really good.
Not mind blowing terps, but pleasant throughout. Everything was above average.
I know both Cresco & Gage take some heat as brands, but if I remove my own bias, I can say this is:
Gas ⛽
Outro
This was an interesting product, that I was glad to review!
I’m hoping I was able to overcome brand reputation and review the product based on what was actually in front of me.
What do you guys think?
