Today we are reviewing a collaboration between Pressure Pack and Detroit rapper: Icewear Vezzo.

On June 24 2022 they released Ice Pack - Purple Runtz.

Icewear Vezzo is a Detroit street rapper, who has been rising to national acclaim with his gritty lyrics and booming basslines.

“This isn’t us just waking up and thinking we are going to start something. This didn’t just happen overnight. This process took time, patience and knowledge. That’s the most important part,” Vezzo said in a press release. - Metro Times

This released around the same time as his Rich Off Pints 3 mixtape.

Pressure Pack

Pressure Pack is a Michigan culivator with a massive strain variety ranging in price from $25 - $50.

One of their more famous strains is Super Pure Runtz.

Purple Runtz is known to have euphoric and uplifting effects that are known to be long lasting. It has a smooth smoke with a fruity flavor profile. The colorful buds and scent remind you of a bag of sweet candy. This strain is best smoked when you want to let all of your worries and woes disappear. - Pressure Pack

• Decent size.
• Great breakdown.
• Not purple?

👃 Smell

• Fruity, candy.
• Very Runtz.

👅 Taste

• Typical Runtz (but light) terps with a purp twist.
• Not the most explosive flavor.

Rating

This one honestly took me a whole eighth to judge.

The smell was on point, and the taste was good.

The Runtz terps with the hint of purp was a nice twist, even if the purp wasn’t there in color.

To me this is right on the cusp of greatness, but had enough unqiue terps to carry it over:

Outro

There are quite a few rapper collaborations on the market and most don’t bring much besides brand recognition to the product.

This one however, brings something a little different that is worth checking out.
