Review (x2): Voyage Bloom x Escada Gordon - Tiger Cake (Flower) & Voyage Bloom x Eastside Alchemy - Tiger Cake (Live Rosin)
By Gas & Middies
Today we are doing, what I’m going to call an “input/output” review.
We are reviewing Voyage Bloom x Escada Gordon - Tiger Cake flower as well as Voyage Bloom x Eastside Alchemy - Tiger Cake live rosin.
Basically we get to try the Tiger Cake flower (the input/starting material of rosin) and then see that same flower, squished by Eastside Alchemy in the output of rosin.
One strain, two products/reviews.

The nugs on this were frosty, yet smaller.
Menthol cools your nose from the first whiff.
With the combined cookie terps, I’m reminded of Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies.
The taste was pretty unique, but I felt it could have been stronger.
The flavor is there, I just want to see it cranked to 11.
While not mind blowing, as Tony the tiger (possible relative?) said it’s still “Grrrrreat!”:

I wanted more of those great Thin Mint cookies terps in the flower and the rosin delivered!
The flavor on this one blew me away.
It really shows what concetrates do: concentrate flavor.
The color and consistency on the rosin matched Eastside’s excellent standard.
With terps so good you just want to keep smelling the puck (even when it’s empty).
I smoked through this waaay too fast, because this was:
Gas ⛽
Outro
Having the opportunity to try some flower both before AND after it’s squished into rosin was quite the treat!
It really gives you an appreciation for what flower qualities produce quality rosin.
The Tiger Cake flower is gas, but not mind blowing.
But the Tiger Cake rosin is both gas AND mind blowing.
Props to both Voyage Bloom & Eastside Alchemy for having the eye of the tiger.
What do you guys think?
Did you prefer the flower or the rosin?
